𝐎𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, Rose Hill Schools will participate in Purple Up! Day to show our support for military children and their families. We encourage all students, staff, and community members to wear purple as a symbol of appreciation for their dedication and sacrifice.
Join us in recognizing and uplifting these amazing kids throughout the month! 💜

We hope you all have a "hoppy" Easter weekend! 🐰

Thanks to funding from the Safe & Secure Schools GRANT, Automated External Defibrillator (AED units) are now fully installed in every district building, including our stadium, Central Office, Transportation, and the Parents as Teachers building.
These Phillips FRX units come equipped with child keys and are accessible to anyone using our facilities.
Our amazing school nurses have already begun training staff on how to use them and additional training will be available as needed.
We’re proud to take this important step in protecting our students, staff, and community - because being prepared saves lives.

𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐟 + 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫!
Our new turf practice field is looking sharp! The lines and logo are officially in place, and we’re now in the infill application phase. Crews are spreading a mix of sand and rubber crumb (those tiny black pieces that end up all over your floor, iykyk) across the surface, a key step that adds cushioning, helps turf blades stand tall, and enhances safety for our athletes.
🥎 Meanwhile, over at the softball field, the first layer of sand has been laid to help with drainage prep. Things are moving right along, and we’re still hopeful that our Varsity Rocket softball girls will get to play at least two home games on their brand-new field this season!
We’re so excited to see these projects coming together for our students. Stay tuned for more updates!

𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 – 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲
For many of our high schoolers, the library is more than just a place to find books—it’s a quiet retreat in the middle of a busy day, a space to focus, and sometimes, exactly the escape they need when life feels overwhelming.
Here’s what they had to say about their library:
💬 "I think having a library in general is just great because people can use the library to develop their creativity and generate new ideas."
💬 "A couple things I appreciate about the library are the fact that I can always fo get a new book when ever I finish my last one, and it is a nice a quiet place for me to do my homework."
💬 "What I appreciate about the school library is that you can read in there, or you can study, or even just take a break from life. Being in the library is like a break from reality. You are allowed to dream and explore on your own time."
💬 "I appreciate that the library is a quiet place where people can focus on their studies. I feel comfortable in the library."
💬 "Having a library in the high school matters because if some people don't have access to a library or even books at home they can explore the library on their own time and whenever they want. It gives them the opportunity to have a place they can study and take a break from real life and destress."
💬 "I like that I can come into the library to just relax and get homework done."
High school can be stressful, and we love that our students have found a space that brings them peace. ❤️🖤

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from our middle schoolers, it’s that the library isn’t just a place for books—it’s a whole vibe! From epic adventures to late-night page-turners, our students have some serious rizz when it comes to reading.
Here’s what they had to say about their library experience:
• "To me, the library is my calm place, like the moment of peace after a storm passes. It is full of many different kinds of genres of reading, branching out from non-fiction biographies to fantasy."
• "Mrs. Francis always helps when i need her help finding a book."
• "The library is cool. They have more than just books in there."
• "Reading is my flex—bruh."
• "I like it cuz It’s a chill quiet spot."
• "The library is actually lit fr"
• "SIGMA!"
Middle schoolers, we see you. And yes, we are totally picking up what you’re putting down!
