We’re thrilled that the “Clear the List” Campaign is BACK for the 2025-2026 school year!
Thanks to the success and support we received last year, all school supplies for students in PreK through 5th grade will be provided at NO COST to families. That means no long supply lists or shopping trips, we’ve got it covered!
Here's what you do need to send with your child:
• A backpack
• A lunchbox (if your child brings lunch from home)
• A water bottle (optional, but encouraged)
• And a pair of wired headphones that your child likes.

This campaign is saving families significant back-to-school costs. We encourage you to use that savings to treat your child to a new backpack, fun school shoes, or something that gets them excited and geared up for learning!

Rose Hill Christian Church will be hosting their annual Clothing Closet this Saturday, July 12 from 9:30 AM–3 PM, open to residents of Rose Hill, Douglass, and Udall school district areas. A great opportunity to pick up some back-to-school items for free (or small donation).
In addition – there will be a Stuff the Bus event at the Derby Walmart on July 19th. There isn’t a set school supply list so if you decide to help with this, we suggest common supplies like:
-#2 Pre-Sharpened Pencils
-Backpacks
-Lunchboxes
-Water Bottles
-Wired Headphones
-Crayola branded items (crayons, colored pencils, washable markers)
-Scissors for little hands
-Elmers Glue
-Kleenex and Clorox Wipes
We’re proud to be part of such a generous and supportive community. Thank you for helping us make back-to-school easier (and more exciting!) for our youngest learners.

We’re starting to receive questions about school supplies, so here’s what you need to know:
𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬 & 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦
School supplies will be provided to students through an upcoming Clear the List Campaign! Allow us to take the school supply shopping stress away so that you can focus on making sure our youngest Rockets are fueled up and ready for launch on Day One! More details on the campaign coming soon!
📘 If you'd like to donate supplies and help support this effort, mark your calendar for the Donation Drive hosted by the Derby Walmart: https://www.facebook.com/RoseHillUSD394/posts/pfbid0oByDuBkpvRHMZSS5TZVJnVoM6gpWV5MHEqyfSgBQGFXR4piqV5czptrVFRNfkDsLl

View the full supply list here: https://5il.co/2lm40
𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦
Just bring your bag, a notebook, and something to write with on the first day. Individual teachers will let students know if additional supplies are needed.
Since Middle and High School are subject-based, it’s more difficult to create a district-wide 'Clear the List' initiative. However, we’re committed to supporting all students however we can. If you’d like to donate, or if you’re a family in need, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at: rosehillschools@usd394.com.
Hopefully this helps answer some questions to help you gear up for a great year! 🚀

🏗️ 𝐑𝐇𝐇𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 🛠️
We’re making progress, and a bit of a mess, at the High School as construction continues rolling right along.
Classrooms have been updated with new flooring, lockers have mostly disappeared (don’t worry, one loyal row still stands for those who want to use them), and our hallways are getting a fresh coat of paint. In the attached pictures, you'll see metal brackets along the walls. Those aren’t modern art, they’re the framing for new study nooks coming soon!
Meanwhile, the library has been completely gutted to make way for a more modern redesign. And the commons? Welllll, it’s currently serving as the world’s most chaotic and tetris'd storage unit, holding everything from desks to whiteboards while they finish up the classrooms. Once that’s done, crews will get started on updating the front area.
We are so appreciative of everyone's patience, support, and grace while we turn our already awesome school into an even better one. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the summer! We promise it won’t always look like a scene from HGTV demolition week. Sometimes, but not all the time. 😊

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐮𝐭!
It’s time to start planning some FREE summer fun across Kansas! ☀️ Families with students in PreK–12th grade can visit zoos, museums, historic sites, and more, at no cost, with the Sunflower Summer app!
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟮–𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟯, but the list of participating attractions is out NOW at sunflowersummer.org!
Note: The app hasn’t flipped over from 2024 just yet, so check back soon for updates.
💬 We love hearing about all the cool places our Rockets visit when they return in the fall — so get out there and make some memories!
As you're out exploring, if you want to be featured on our social media, send us your photos and let us know where your family’s adventures take you! rosehillschools@usd394.com
