Liftoff Lineup: Rockets Week at a Glance for February 2
Rose Hill Teachers and Administrators had a full day of learning on the January 20 Professional Development Day. Elementary teachers participated in science and reading training with a trainer from Imagine Learning. The secondary teachers participated in Standard Response Protocol training in the morning and the Let's Move Kansas! Active Schools Inservice facilitated by Rhonda Holt and Meggin DeMoss in the afternoon. Each session was designed to improve student engagement and learning which is one of our school improvement goals this year.

Just a healthy reminder to please keep your child home if they are sick, to allow them time to recover and to reduce the spread of illness. 𝙿𝙰𝚁𝙴𝙽𝚃𝚂: If your child is sent home from school with a fever or develops a fever at home, they must be 𝐅𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 for 𝟐𝟒 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 without the use of fever reducing medication before returning to class. The definition of a fever is 100 degrees or higher. ● In the event that your child has an upset stomach. We strongly recommend that you keep your child home for 24 hours after the last episode of vomiting. Some diagnosis of contagious disease requires 24 hours of antibiotic treatment before returning to school (strep, pink eye, etc.). More detailed info can be found in the student handbook for the school for which your child attends. The handbook is posted on each of the school’s home pages on our website (www.usd394.com).
