**COMMUNITY POST**
The next community clothing closet at the Rose Hill Christian Church is this Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 9:30-noon. This offering of free clothing is for all who are in financial need in Rose Hill, Douglass and Udall school district areas. It is located in the small white building on the south end of the church parking lot.
They ask that you please bring your own bags for taking your selected items home. The clothing is for infants to seniors. They also have shoes and boots, jackets and hoodies and heavy coats.
They are always accepting donations of CLEAN, GENTLY USED, SMOKE FREE AND ANIMAL HAIR FREE CLOTHING ONLY. Please contact Mrs. Hoss at 316-258-0817 to arrange a time to drop off your donations. They ask that you please do not just leave them outside the buildings.
Today, our State Champion Wrestling Team took a break from the mats to spread some early morning joy at our elementary school! Witnessing the little ones' faces light up as they received high fives and knuckle bumps from these incredible athletes was pure magic.
Not only are they champions on the mat, but they are also role models inspiring the next generation of warriors. Kudos to our wrestlers for showing that success, sportsmanship, and community spirit go hand in hand! #RocketPride🚀

A contract will be extended to a new High School Principal for the 2024-25 school year after Mr. Haydock announced his retirement last month.
We will also welcome Dr. Hart from KASB to guide our new BOE members through the new member orientation. Their expertise will enrich our school district's leadership!

After the first day of competition Samson, Sebastian, Trent, Adam, Johnny and Damon have advanced to the Semis tomorrow. Cole and Rhett are in 2nd round of Consolations tomorrow. The Rockets are currently in 1st with 69.5 points and Clay Center is in 2nd with 58 points. Keep up the great work!!
Samson, Sebastian, Johnny& Damon are in the Finals tomorrow! Adam, Trent & Cole wrestle for 3-6!! Team is is currently in first with 124.5 and second has 104.0. It all wraps up tomorrow!!!
The Rose Hill High School Wind Ensemble will have their talents showcased to music educators across the state at the Kansas Music Educators Association Inservice Workshop tomorrow at Century II! They will perform in the main Concert Hall at 2:40 PM. All are welcome to attend! Ticket prices are on the KMEA website.

Rose Hill PD will provide an escort out of town as we love to to see folks from the community come out and cheer the wrestlers on as they depart.....best spots would by USD District office and across the street from the bank, Vet and Pizza Hut, and Casey's!!
