RHMS volleyball concluded their regular season tonight, taking on Mulvane and El Dorado. The 7A and 8A girls were undefeated in division play this season both 6-0!! They will head to the Patriot South League Tournament this Saturday! 7th grade will head to Ark City and 8th grade will head to Clearwater.
7B ended their season 2-4 while 8B went undefeated in division play, 6-0!
These young ladies have had a remarkable season! We are proud of their hard work they demonstrated throughout the season! Rocket Proud!!

The RHMS football team took to the field tonight to face off against the Circle Thunderbirds. The 7th grade team's defensive line held firm, preventing the Thunderbirds from scoring and securing a 6-0 win. The 8th grade team, seeking another win after last year's overtime game, put up a fierce fight but ultimately lost 6-22 to Circle. The team's hard work and dedication are evident in their weekly performances. Next week, the Rockets will wrap up their season with a game against Mulvane. Rocket Proud! 🚀

RHMS volleyball faced off against Circle and Prairie Hills tonight. The 8th grade team traveled to Prairie Hills, while the 7th grade team hosted for the first time this season.
The 8A team emerged victorious against both PHMS and Circle.

RH vs Circle: 25-20, 26-24
The 8B team also secured wins over PHMS and Circle.

The 7A team successfully defeated PHMS and Circle.

RHMS Rockets were active on multiple fronts, with cross country competing in Winfield and football facing Wellington.
Cross country athletes earned four medals and achieved seven new personal records. The eighth-grade girls' team tied for first place! They will compete next in El Dorado on Tuesday.
Football rolled over the Knights with wins for both the seventh and eighth-grade teams. Neither team allowed Wellington to score. The seventh-grade team secured a 36-0 win, as did the eighth-grade team, also winning 36-0. The Rockets take on Circle next Thursday!
Let's not forget the RHMS cheerleaders!! They kept the spirit alive as they cheered their teams to victory!!

RHMS Stuco is planning its annual Veteran's Day assembly for Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025. We would like to honor all active duty and veteran military members related to our middle school students. Another great night of volleyball! The Rockets took on Augusta and Mulvane with 7th grade traveling to Mulvane and 8th grade hosting. 8th had a sweep taking the wins over Augusta and Mulvane!! 7th grade had a split night as "A" team beat both Augusta and Mulvane. "B" team fell short tonight losing both games. Proud of the hard work these athletes continue to put in! Way to go ROCKETS!!

RHMS fall picture re-take day will be Wednesday, Oct. 15. If your student needs picture retakes, or was absent on our original picture day, please make sure they are present on the 15th. Due to the district-wide pep rally on Friday for homecoming, we would like to remind parents that students will be at the district stadium beginning at 2:00pm. If you have scheduled appointments after that time, please either pick students up before 2:00pm or allow extra time to pick them up, as we will have to retrieve them from the stadium. Both 7th and 8th grade volleyball is at McPherson tonight. 7th grade will play at the Community Building (122 E. Marlin St.) and the 8th grade will play at the Middle School. Games will start at 4:30 at each location.
McPherson is also hosting a food drive, it you bring a canned food item, you will receive $1.00 off your admission price.
