The girls' basketball team resumed competition tonight, facing off against Augusta. The evening was marked by intense excitement, with spectators on the edge of their seats. 8A secured the sole victory, defeating Augusta 31-20. 8B played a shortened game due to Augusta's limited roster, ultimately falling 4-9. The 7th-grade team engaged in two fiercely contested matches, pushing Augusta to work hard for their wins. 7A suffered a narrow 19-21 loss to Augusta. 7B went into overtime, but unfortunately, the Rockets lost 15-16. The team will face Circle on Monday. Rocket Proud!
Tomorrow's 8B girls basketball game will be 2 quarters due to Augusta having limited players. The 8A game will start 10 minutes after the conclusion of 8B.
The Rockets hit the road today, with wrestling matches against Circle and Clearwater in McPherson and girls basketball headed south for a matchup against Ark City. The wrestling team achieved a 1-1 record, with a victory over Clearwater. The girls' basketball team had a successful night, with 7A defeating Ark City 48-1 and 8A winning against Ark City 29-17. Although 7B fought hard, they were unable to secure a win, losing 16-11. 8B also lost to Ark City, with a score of 21-15. Great job tonight, Rockets!
There will be NO FCA meeting tomorrow morning (12/3); however, KAYS and STUCO ARE meeting tomorrow at 8:35. It is very important for kiddos to attend this meeting. We have announced these changes to the students, but wanted to make parents aware, as well. Thank you for your flexibility.

Tonight, the Rockets faced off against the Prairie Hills Crusaders, emerging with two wins. The 7A girls' team triumphed over the Crusaders 33-16, and the 8B team secured a 22-4 victory. Although the 7B team narrowly lost 15-17, they demonstrated a strong performance. Unfortunately, the 8A team lost to the Crusaders 8-23. The Rockets will be back in action on Saturday, with a mid-season shootout. 7th grade will play against Mulvane and Clearwater in Mulvane, while the 8th grade team will host Mulvane and Clearwater. Tonight, RHMS wrestling played host to Augusta and Winfield. Despite their best efforts, the team was defeated by both Augusta, 66-27, and Winfield, 54-42. Throughout the night, these young men exemplified perseverance and determination. Next week, the Rockets host on both Tuesday and Thursday night! Rocket Proud!🚀
RHMS's annual holiday food drive for Hope Connections is kicking off tomorrow, Nov. 12, and will run through Friday, Nov. 21. There will be a competition between grade levels for the most food items/money donated. Items and money will be collected each day and tallied. Please see the attached graphic for more information on what items are not allowed for donations. Any checks donated must be made payable to Hope Connections. RHMS girls basketball faced off against McPherson tonight. Although the outcome was not as desired, the team demonstrated remarkable dedication and perseverance. The 7A team fell short to McPherson 17-56. The 7B team came up short 15-23, and the 8A team lost 9-60. Conversely, the 8B team secured a win, 39-10! The Rockets will compete against Prairie Hills on Thursday. Let's go Rockets!
BIG shout-out to 6th grade teacher Sandy Bumpus for organizing a "Support Our Troops" drive last month. Students donated and collected items to help Rose Hill military families and presented them to the Rocket Resource Center. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Use the attached code (FOR PRE-ORDERS ONLY), or students will be bringing home a slip with a personalized QR code for ordering after picture day.
