Middle School

The public is invited to attend RHMS's annual Veteran's Day assembly at 2:00pm on Wednesday, Nov. 12, in the middle school gym. Veterans are invited to a pre-assembly reception from 1:15-2:00pm in the middle school library. This is a wonderful event hosted each year by the RHMS Student Council. We hope you can join us this year!

RHMS wrestling hit the mat today at the Derby B team tournament. Had some wins, had some losses but most importantly, our team got experience and represented Rose Hill remarkably!! Great job!!

It was a wonderful day at Patriot League Honor Choir where 5 schools joined to make one large team and sang some excellent music!  So proud of our RHMS Singers!

Tonight, the RHMS ladies launched the basketball season with a home opener against El Dorado. 8A emerged victorious with a score of 23-10, 8B triumphed over the Wildcats, winning 29-0, and 7A defeated El Dorado 50-7. 7B demonstrated perseverance and made the Wildcats work, unfortunately losing 10-14. It was a great first night of basketball. Excited to see these young ladies in action this season!! Rocket Proud🚀

It’s a remarkable achievement to win a league championship, and winning TWO is truly impressive!! The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams are the Patriot League South CHAMPS!! The 7th grade emerged victorious against Wellington in the final round, while the 8th grade triumphed over Clearwater!! Both teams have maintained a perfect record this season!! What a stellar season!! Congratulations to the ladies on a fantastic season!! Rocket proud🚀

Join us for the RHMS Fall Concert!!

The RHMS football team concluded their season tonight with a game against Mulvane. The 7th grade team demonstrated exceptional defensive skills, preventing Mulvane from scoring until well into the second half, but ultimately lost 8-0. The 8th grade team dominated Mulvane with a score of 44-0. Both the 7th and 8th grade teams ended the season with a 5-2 record. Congratulations to the Rockets on a successful season, showcasing unwavering dedication and teamwork. Rocket Proud!🚀

RHMS cross country finished their season at the league meet today. This team has dominated all season! They have set more PR’s than any prior season. The 8th grade girls took 1st in league and the 7th grade boys took 2nd!! That’s not the only medal the Rockets brought home! RHMS reminders:
**Fall conferences begin tonight (3:30-7:30). They will continue Thursday, Oct. 16 (8:00-4:00). Please also stop by the lost and found tables outside the office. We have a lot of unclaimed items.

**On Wed., Oct. 15, we are having picture re-take day. If your student missed picture day or would like re-takes, please make sure they are at school on the 15th (these photos will go in the yearbook).

**7/8 grade girls basketball and boys wrestling will start practices on Monday, Oct. 20, after school. Students should have brought home information from the coaches. Please make sure ALL physical paperwork is turned in to the office before the 20th. Students who do not have all forms turned in will not be able to practice.

**There will be a winter sports parent meeting for girls' basketball and boys' wrestling on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 5:30pm. If your 7th or 8th grader is going out for these sports, please plan on attending this meeting. It will last 30-45 min.

**There will be a fall choir concert on Oct. 23 at 7:00pm in the high school auditorium. Choir students should have brought home concert information from Ms. King.
