The RHMS girls wrestling team commenced their season by competing against Wellington and Mulvane, gaining valuable experience on the mat and securing several wins! Next, the Rockets will travel to Winfield on Tuesday to take on Winfield and Augusta. Rocket proud🚀

The boys' basketball team faced off against Ark City tonight, and the results were a sweep for the Rockets, with 7A defeating Ark City 50-12 and 7B winning 44-21! 8A secured a 54-24 victory, while 8B edged out Ark City 29-24! It was a great night of basketball, showcasing excellent teamwork. The Rockets are on the road Monday, taking on Circle. Rocket proud! 🚀

RHMS scholars bowl students competed in Andover tonight. The 8th grade secured 1st place!! 7th grade finished 4th! Up next, the Rockets host on Tuesday, January 27th!! Rocket proud!🚀

RHMS boys basketball hosted their home opener against Mulvane tonight. The 7A team was defeated by Mulvane, 14-48, while the 7B team also suffered a loss, 27-36. However, the 8A team emerged victorious, outscoring the Wildcats, 54-25. The 8B team, unfortunately, was unable to secure a win, 21-32. Despite having only two games under their belt, these young men have already demonstrated an impressive level of teamwork. The Rockets will host Ark City on Thursday. Rocket Proud! 🚀

RHMS boys basketball launched their season tonight against McPherson. 7A and 7B teams made a strong impression, securing wins for the night! 7A defeated McPherson 48-11 and 7B 38-4! The 8th grade team played with determination and showcased their talent, but ultimately fell short of securing a win. The final score for 8A was 26-32 and 8B 20-22. Let's go Rockets!!!! The Rockets will host Mulvane on Tuesday!!

Our school is hosting a Pop Tab Collection Competition to support the Ronald McDonald House, and it’s time to see which grade can rise to the top!

Students are encouraged to collect pop tabs from aluminum cans and bring them to school. Collection containers are located in each science teacher’s classroom, so be sure to drop your pop tabs off there.

This is a grade-level competition, and prizes will be awarded to the winning grade each quarter, as well as a grand prize for the overall winning grade at the end of the year.

Every pop tab helps support families in need—so start collecting and help your grade win while making a difference!

Girls wrestling and boys basketball practices will start Monday, January 5th after school. A physical must be on file with the office prior to practices starting.

Join us for the RHMS winter concert!

The 7th grade basketball team has advanced to the championship game!! They will face Clearwater on Monday at 4:30 in Clearwater. The 8th grade team defeated Mulvane in the first round and proceeded to the second round of the league tournament, where they faced Clearwater. Unfortunately, the team fell short against the Indians. It was a great season, and the team is commended for their hard work and dedication. Rocket proud! 🚀

Someone get the broom out!! The girls' basketball teams swept Haysville West tonight, marking the end of the regular season. Four wins were secured on the night!! The 7A team defeated Haysville West 33-20. The 8A team secured a win with a score of 25-20. The 7B and 8B teams concluded their season by beating Haysville West! The 7B team dominated Haysville West, 21-6, and the 8B team won 31-23!! 7A and 8A will head to Clearwater Saturday for the league tournament. 7A will play the winner of Wellington and Winfield at noon, and 8A will play Mulvane at 9 am.
