**REMINDER**
Families of students PreK-5th grade can pick up their child's school supplies between 8 AM-Noon today and again tonight from 4-8 PM.

As you will notice at supply pick up, tissues, paints, binders, Clorox Wipes, and baggies are purchased, sorted, and will be delivered to classrooms. This way, students won’t have to carry so many large bulky items when picking up.
**All you will need to purchase are headphones for your kiddo if your grade has them on the supply list as we understand each child is different in their choice in headphones.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Third grade classes will be taking a field trip to the Sedgwick County Zoo on Friday, May 10. We will depart from school first thing in the morning and return at the end of the school day. Please make sure your student is at school on time. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather and we advise tennis shoes. We also ask that each child bring a drawstring bag from home to carry their belongings (including lunch) throughout the zoo day. Please do not send money to your child as they will not be doing the stingray exhibit, train, or gift shop.
Parents/guardians are welcome to join us at the zoo. There is a $3.25 discounted admission fee that is required to be paid to your student’s teacher by Wednesday, April 10. Parents/guardians will also be required to enter the zoo with our group for a discounted rate. The full admission price will be required at the zoo entrance if not paid in advance or you enter at a different time than our group. Younger siblings will not be allowed to enter the learning program that each class will attend. If younger siblings will be attending, please do not volunteer to lead a small group. You are more than welcome to join a small group. Please mark below if you would be interested in volunteering to be in charge of a small group of students at the zoo.
Students and adults will need to bring a sack lunch and drink. The school can provide a sack lunch for your student with a deduction from their food service account.
Thank you,
3rd Grade Team

Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are doing a community service service project. We have been learning about communities in class, so we wanted to put what we have learned into action! Our class would like to help our community by creating care packages for the elderly and delivering them to Advena Living at Fountainview. Mrs.Garcia and the care home have given us permission for the project. The contents of the care package will be:
Pens
Lotion
Homemade Cookies
Activity Book/Adult Coloring Book
Deck of Cards
We would love your help! You can help us by donating items. Please send the donations to Mrs. Pugh’s 3rd Grade Class by Friday, May 10. We have attached a signup genius to this note. Please share the link with others! Thank you for helping our class and making a difference in our community!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Pugh’s 3rd Grade Class

We've received some calls about unused e-wallet funds from the last book fair and we wanted to clarify and ensure everyone is up to date!
Here's what you need to know:
🌟 Any remaining e-wallet funds from the last book fair were automatically converted to an eGift card balance after the book fair by Scholastic.
💰 The eGift card can be used to shop online at The Scholastic Store OR you can use the remaining gift card balance to fund a new eWallet for this book fair (or future fairs).
Scholastic understands the importance of these funds, and to make things even easier, families should have been receiving monthly email reminders with their eWallet balances to the email address you used to sign up for the e-wallet. This way, you can stay informed and make the most out of your eGift card or top up your child's eWallet for the current fair.
We thank you for your continued support for our district book fairs!
