These students consistently demonstrate positive attitudes, strong character, and a commitment to our school values. We are so proud of their efforts and leadership both in and out of the classroom.
3rd Grade- Quilla Bexten
Quilla is new to our school and has followed our RHIS acronym like a seasoned champ! She's a great role model, a great friend, and has a great head on her shoulders in all aspects of being a 3rd Grader at RHIS.
4th Grade-Jojo Bastian
Jojo goes above and beyond when it comes to being a friend, a student, just an overall incredible person! She is a role model for our RHIS and a leader among her peers.
5th Grade- Molly Johnson
Molly treats her classmates and teachers with respect. She comes to school with a big smile and willingness to learn. She is a great team player and always encourages her classmates to do their best. Her personality brings a ray of sunshine to our classroom!

The RHIS Finance Club will be hosting their Iced Coffee Sale tomorrow morning from 8:30–9:30!
We had to postpone last Friday due to the rain, but we’re ready to roll!

Just a friendly reminder that the Pay the Day calendars are due Monday, October 20th. Students will receive a prize for turning in their calendars and money no matter how many dates are filled. Money raised will go to support our students with field trips and other activities. We truly appreciate all the support!!

Pumpkin Palooza is coming up October 9th.
🚀🏈 Our high school football buddies came to eat lunch with our 3rd-grade Rocket football boys! These little Rockets look up to their big buddies in a big way! Go Rockets!
For those of you who like to plan ahead, picture day is coming October 14.
🚀 Our Rocket Store is in full effect! Students have been earning their Rocket Bucks since the beginning of the year by showing what it means to be Respectful, take Ownership, be Impactful, and stay Safe. These expectations aren’t just words, we live, breathe, and talk about them every day.
This week, students got the chance to shop! They had to budget, make choices, and decide whether to spend their bucks now or save up for bigger prizes later. It’s been amazing to see them applying real-world economics while having fun.
A huge shout-out to our Behavior Team for putting in countless hours to make this project a success. The joy and learning we’re seeing from our students has been worth every bit of it! 🚀
Our 5th graders kicked off the D.A.R.E. program today with Officer Starnes! 🚓📚 Excited for the lessons ahead in making safe and smart choices!
We are excited to join Primary this year in the Pay the Day fundraiser. Students will be bringing home calendars today so look for those in backpacks. Each family will just receive one calendar, so the oldest child will be bringing it home. Details and prizes are listed below.
