Get ready for Rocket Pride Friday! We are looking for a couple of students who are showing their rocket pride to get a free ticket to the game or a free item at the concession stand. Basketball is home this week. Varsity girls tip off at 5:30 with boys game to follow.

Speaking of the game, the intermediate school will be selling stickers to support grade level field trips or other classroom needs. Come see us at the game! Stickers are $2-$3 each.

Finally, the junior dance team will be performing at halftime of the boys game. Hope to see you all there!

This is a friendly reminder that if your Rocket is interested in the dance clinic, forms are due to the office by Friday, December 19. They flyer is attached if you need it, or more copies are available in the office.

Lost and found of the Month.

As the colder weather is rolling in, we just wanted to send a quick reminder about staying warm. The front doors remain locked until 7:45 so if students are dropped off sooner, they will need to dress for the morning temperature. Students go out for their first recess immediately following their lunch. At RHIS, we feel that fresh air and sunshine are important, so we take every opportunity to get outside for those recess times. Please make sure your students are coming to school prepared for the temperature.

3rd Grade-Alice Eastman
Alice is attentive, kind to her peers, and always eager to do her best. She brings a positive energy to our school and represents us with a big smile and great attitude every day!
4th Grade-Eli McCombs
Eli goes above and beyond to help our class. He stays behind every single day to ensure that our classroom is neat and tidy. He is always willing to help anyone need. He follows all classroom and school rules and tries daily to be the absolute best role model.
5th Grade- Canton Hackney
Canton consistently show kindness, curiosity, and a great attitude in everything he does. Canton is always ready to help classmates, work hard on assignments, and bring positive energy to the classroom every day. His positivity is refreshing for all who are around him.

Picture retake day is coming up. If you haven't gotten a picture yet, come with your best smile ready to go. If you have already had them taken, bring your packet back and trade for a new set. A code will be sent home after the pictures for your chance to order. Say Cheese!!
