Let's take a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements of our talented Rockets at the recent KMEA conference!
🎤 Junior Sophia Butler showcased her musical prowess with the All-State Mixed Choir! Not only did she deliver an outstanding performance, but she also earned recognition for an impressive three years of participation in the All-State Choir! Way to go, Sophia!
🎺🥁 And here's a historic moment for Rose Hill High School - our Wind Ensemble made school history by performing at KMEA for the very first time! Out of 40 audition tapes, including entries from middle school, high school, college, and professional bands, only eight were selected - and our students and band teachers proudly made the cut! This is the highest honor a band can receive in Kansas!
🎷🎺 Three of our exceptional musicians, Maddy Vaughters (bass clarinet), Lucas Shropshire (trumpet), and Trey Campbell (trombone), were chosen to perform in the prestigious 1234A All-State Band! 🌟 Their dedication and talent have truly shone through!
📽️ You can catch the magic of our Wind Ensemble's performance on the Rocket Band Facebook page!
🚀 Let's continue to soar to new heights, Rockets! 🚀 #RocketPride

🩸 Last Tuesday, Mrs. Reed's Anatomy & Physiology students had the incredible opportunity to learn from two outstanding medical professionals, Katie Laws - Certified Medical Assistant, and Jasmin Bohn - Phlebotomist! They shared their valuable experiences and insights on working in the medical field, along with the journey to becoming certified in their respective roles.
💉 The interactive session included hands-on activities where students were guided through safety procedures and the proper techniques for drawing blood. Using a practice arm equipped with realistic veins, filled with red liquid to simulate blood, students got a firsthand experience with a variety of phlebotomy equipment.

🌟🤼♂️ Extraordinary Journey to the Top! 🏆 The Rose Hill High School wrestling team has overcome obstacles and risen to become the best in Kansas! 🚀
Starting from a repurposed church a decade ago, the South Central Punishers club, founded by parent James Bilby, became the catalyst for Rose Hill's wrestling success.
Now, these junior athletes, who began their wrestling journey in that very church, are leading Rose Hill to unprecedented victories. Ranked No. 1 in the state, the Rockets are rewriting history with their exceptional skill and determination.

Let's make a difference together! The RHHS KAY club is on a mission to collect pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House this semester, and they need YOUR help!
Last semester, they exceeded expectations and collected 25 pounds of pop tabs. 🎉 Now, they've set an even bigger goal: 35 pounds (about 42,000 tabs) for this semester!
Collection boxes are conveniently placed in the high school office and most teacher classrooms. Every tab counts, and everyone in the community is invited to contribute!
Let's show the power of our small town and make a difference together!
If they reach our goal, the Snoasis food truck will roll into our high school on April 25 during the lunch hour to celebrate the collective efforts! 🍧🎉
Let's PULL together and make a positive impact, Rockets!

Witness the precision and focus as students in Mrs. Holland's Chem II class measure, mix, and master the art of titration! 👩🏫🔍 The lab isn't just about equations on the board; it's a dynamic dance of knowledge, curiosity, and collaboration.
In Mrs. Holland's classroom, every drop counts, and every reaction sparks a new understanding. This week's lesson goes beyond textbooks, instilling a passion for discovery and an appreciation for the wonders of science. 🤯🧪

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: The Reading Challenge is here! Reading Passports are available to pick up in the library. To participate, students will check out and read books that fit within the different genres listed in the passport. After reading a book that fits the category, they will come to the library for a brief chat with Mrs. A about the book they read and a stamp on that passport page.
Students can earn prizes at 2, 4 and 6 stamps.
A completed passport earns an invite to a pizza lunch on April 24.
Grab your Reading Passport, dive into the world of books, and embark on a literary journey! 📚
