Every year on October 26, communities across the country pause to observe the National Day of the Deployed, a day dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of those who serve abroad and the families who hold down the fort here at home.
At Rose Hill Schools, we are proud to stand behind our military-connected students and families. This year, weβre hosting a Donation Drive to gather items that bring comfort and support to our deployed service members.
π Donation Drive Dates: October 6β20
π Drop-off Locations: Primary, Intermediate, and Middle Schools, as well as the District Office.
To make giving even easier, weβve created an Amazon Wish List featuring the most-requested items from our military families.
Commonly Requested Items Include:
Non-perishable food: canned goods, pasta, rice, snacks
Cleaning supplies: disinfectant wipes, laundry detergent, paper towels
Gift cards: grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations
Comforts from home: beef jerky, simple games, and snack items
Every donation, big or small, helps remind our deployed service members that they are remembered, valued, and supported by their community.
Together, we can make a meaningful impact and show our gratitude for the sacrifices made by our military families.
