New ID Cards

Beginning this school year, all Rose Hill students in grades 6-12 will have their photos taken during the first two weeks of school for Student ID cards. These ID cards will be available for a one-time fee of $25 and will grant students free admission to all middle and high school home activities, with the exception of dances and KSHSAA-sponsored competitions. This includes events at both schools - so middle school students can attend high school events for free, and vice versa.

To gain entry, students must present their Student ID card. If a student does not have an ID card, regular admission fees will apply. Replacement cards will be available for $5.

As a district, we want to ensure that cost is never a barrier for our students to participate in and enjoy school events. In previous years, many students spent upwards of $100 annually just to attend a few activities. This new program significantly reduces that cost and encourages greater student involvement.

If you choose not to purchase the Student ID card, that’s completely fine, your student can still attend events by paying regular admission and will not receive an ID card.
