If you're looking for a way to explore Kansas this summer without breaking the bank, the Sunflower Summer program is back, and it’s the perfect way to make family memories close to home!
From July 12 to August 3, families with PreK–12th grade students can enjoy FREE admission to a wide range of Kansas attractions, including:
Museums, Zoos, Historic landmarks, Nature centers, and more!
This year’s season is a little shorter than usual due to funding, and only one adult admission per group is covered. But student tickets can still be transferred to trusted adults like grandparents or daycare providers!
The list of 2025 participating attractions is already live at sunflowersummer.org! Be sure to check which spots are included before heading out. (Just a heads up - the app still shows 2024 info for now, but updates are coming soon.)
We always love hearing where our Rockets have adventured when they come back in the fall, so get out, explore Kansas, and enjoy the ride! If you want to be featured on our social media, send us photos of where your family visited in Kansas and we’d love to share them!
