Integration
Provide teachers with appropriate grade-level / subject-matter digital tools that facilitate effective instruction and learning.
Assist with teacher integration of technology within the curriculum and classroom.
Safety
Provide students and staff with safe and secure access to digital resources.
Provide teachers and staff with ongoing cybersecurity training
Students will learn digital citizenship at all levels of instruction.
Digital tools have the ability to make learning more engaging, accessible, and personal. Student learning results from continuous interaction with educators, students, parents/guardians, and the extended community. Technology immersion does not diminish the vital role of the teacher but transforms the teacher from the director of learning to a facilitator of learning.
Effective teaching and learning integrate technology into the curriculum anytime, anyplace. Current technology and instruction will play a vital role in helping to equip our students with the skills they need for our global society. With the help of technology, our students will learn through collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
