Last season our girls cross country team won league for the 4th year in a row. We were short by a couple points going to state as a team. Our girls and boys track team broke multiple records and both performed well at the state meet. The Rose Hill Cross Country team is looking to win another girls league title in this upcoming season and make it to the state meet.
There are multiple ladies returning for the upcoming season; Emersyn Herod, senior, Sian Hoang, junior, and Mya McCrea, sophomore. There are several men returning for the upcoming season as well; Jon Barb, junior, Mark Adamson, junior, Ivan Lin, junior and Aidan Haugh, junior.
Coach Barger's plans for the season include "For both teams to win league, be healthy and get both boys and girls teams to the state meet.” There are several important meets this season that will help the team meet their goals, Wamego Invitational and Rim Rock are among these pivotal meets.
