Rocket Athletics

Beginning in January of 2002, Mr. Wright took over the duties of developing and maintaining the high school web site from Mrs. Krueger. Students who worked on the web site did such a great job that their duties soon included the maintenance and development of five different web sites including the USD 394 District site, the high school site, the middle school site, the intermediate school site, and the primary school site.

In August of 2010, the district switched to the SOCS (Simplified Online Communication System) format that you see now. This enables all teachers and administrators in the district to create and maintain their own pages.

Thus, it was in August of 2010 that rocketathletics.com was created. The rocketathletics.com web site was created using a new design and the content of the athletics section of the old Rose Hill High School web site.

The rocketathletics.com web team currently includes Jacob Wellenstein, Josef Peck, Rylan Barger, Reed Brownlee, Koby Campbell, and Lilly Shropshire. These students continue the maintenance and development of rocketathletics.com. Many former web page students from 2002 through 2019, have played a large part in the development of the web site as their past work, consisting of articles and results, makes up the archive section (beginning with the 2003-2004 school year).  All of the students have done an outstanding job of compiling all of the pertinent information about Rocket Athletics over the past few years by putting it into a format that is as user friendly and as visually exciting as you will find anywhere in the state.
