Volleyball – 2016 State Champions!!!
Coach: Melissa Segovia, Assistant Coaches: Elaine Witt and Jennifer Goering. Season record 39-6. The Lady Rockets went undefeated in pool play on Friday, October 28th, in the Class 4A-1 State volleyball tournament. The Championship/Consolation bracket play began at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, with Lady Rockets winning their first match against Paola 25-17, 25-20. The Championship game matched Rose Hill against Shawnee Mission-Bishop Miege. The Rockets defeated Bishop Miege in straight sets 25-22, 25-20 to earn the title of 4A-1 Volleyball State Champions!!!
