Introducing the NEW STAFF members of Rose Hill Schools and Welcoming Returning Staff and Students!!!

It’s back to school time for administrators, too as they have been interviewing and selecting the “new” staff that will join the certified staff at Rose Hill Schools.

Back to school is in full swing! The first day is Wednesday, August 19th.  Remember this is a “late start” day school begins later than normal. Teachers are preparing lesson plans, and getting the classrooms ready for school to begin. 

            August 19th

First day of School: 1st through 12th grade - Late-Start Day

August 24th

            First day for ECSE, Rocket Launch and Kindergarten

It may take some time for children to get back in the "routine" of going to school.  Please help your child by ensuring a bedtime that will provide for plenty of sleep.  Letting your child "sleep in" usually just means a frantic rush to get to school.  If more sleep is needed, work to go to bed earlier.  Have bags packed, materials ready and clothes picked out the night before.  Again, anything we can do to relieve the stress imposed by the time deadline to get to school at the proper time, will be well worth the pre-planning effort.  We are excited to have the opportunity to work with everyone to help make this a positive, productive, and memorable school year.

SCHOOL HOURS

Kindergarten through Fifth grades will begin at 8:10 a.m. and end at 3:25 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and will begin at 9:25 a.m. and end at 3:25 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Sixth through Eighth grades will begin at 7:55 a.m. and end at 3:10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and will begin at 9:10 a.m. and end at 3:10 p.m. on Wednesdays.

High School Ninth through Twelfth grades will begin at 7:50 a.m. and end at 3:05 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and will begin at 9:05 a.m. and end at 3:05 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The new staff members started their Professional Development In-service August 10th and will continue through the 14th; the last two days with their mentors and all certified staff members.
