It was over a year ago that Tammy Sinclair sent the entry in. She had even forgot about doing it since it had been so long ago.
District Librarian Angela Boese was so excited when she heard that the Elementary Library was chosen by the EMC-KAKEland Reading Caravan that she immediately started planning a theme. With the help of many volunteers, Leslie Black, Heather Gray, Jeanie Moeder, Patti Posey, Andrea Holland, and Tammy Sinclair for nominating, the library was transposed into an African jungle.
The EMC-KAKEland Reading Caravan is a partnership between EMC Insurance Companies and KAKE-TV. It was developed to promote reading to elementary students. EMC Insurance gives away $500 monthly to a school to help fund their reading programs and library.
Congratulations to Mrs. Boese and the Rose Hill Elementary School Library.
