PTC Meeting - November 27, 2007
OLD BUSINESS
Minutes
The minutes from the October meeting were gone over. Rhonda Taylor made a motion to accept them as written and a second was given by Freema Covey. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report
Kelli went over the treasurer’s report for the last month. Mr. Collier made a motion to accept it as written and a second was given by Lori Mounts. Motion passed.
Spirit Wear
There is a second order for spirit wear getting ready to go in so that they will be back by Christmas. We will have totals on how much was made after this order is filled.
Movie Night
The movie shown was Fred Clause. It was the most successful movie night we’ve had. Over 100 tickets were sold.
Holiday Shop
We have borrowed a price gun from Apple Market rather than purchase one this year. Heather still needs some volunteers for Tuesday if any one is interested please let one of us know.
Holiday Photos
We still have several open slots for holiday photos on the weekend of December 8th and 9th. If anyone is interested in volunteering to help either day, we have sign up sheets. If you or anyone you know of would like to make an appointment to have your family portrait taken, contact Gena Wade. Mike Eilert will be taking them in the multi-purpose room and the turn around on orders will be very quick in order to send them out for Christmas.
Dining Around Town
Kelli and Angela Boese are setting up the Dining Around Town nights. They have 3 nights set up in January at Pizza Hut. One night will be middle school, one night the intermediate, and one night the primary. We need people to work one-hour slots. Pizza Hut is offering to have drawings every hour for family meal deal gift certificates. We are looking at other incentives for the April dining dates in order to help draw more people in.
NEW BUSINESS
Inflatables
The dates need to be decided for the intermediate and primary inflatable day so that we can get them reserved. Mr. Collier will be checking with Mrs. Sanders and let Gena know what dates they would like to schedule this for.
Bingo
We will be talking more about our bingo fundraiser for the spring at the December meeting. We will need a chairperson and committee formed at that time. Anyone interested in helping out with this, please attend the December meeting or contact Gena Wade.
Renee Barnett won a candle for the drawing tonight.
