PTC MINUTES – May 22, 2007

Meeting was called to order by Gena.

Minutes
Minutes from the April meeting were reviewed.  A motion was made by Lori Mounts to accept the minutes as written and a second was given by Wendy Weiss.  Motion passed.

Treasurer’s Report
Kelli went over the treasurer’s report and the budget for next year.  A motion was made by Debbie Kill to accept both as written and a second was given by Wendy Weiss.  Motion passed.

We discussed buying recess balls, jump ropes, hoolahoops, etc. for each classroom/grade level.  We will look into the Campbell’s Soup labels catalog and see what is available in there and then see what there is a need for.

Teacher Appreciation week
Many compliments were received and several thank you cards were read. 

Inflatable Fun Day
The inflatable fun day was a success.  The kids seemed to have a great time and everything went well.  This is something we would like to do again in the future.

Storage
We rented a storage space from Rose Hill Storage and are in the process of getting all of the Santa Store items and carnival games into it.

School Supply Packs
Debbie Kill advised us that she may need more money to purchase supplies depending on the number of orders she receives.  However, reminded us that it is money that comes right back in once the packets are picked up.  A motion  was made by Lori Mounts for her to use up to $2000.00 to purchase supplies for the packets with a second given by Wendy Weiss.  Motion passed.

Debbie Kill made a motion to adjourn the meeting with a second from Lori Mounts.  Motion Passed.

Debbie Kill won the drawing for a stadium seat.
