Agenda
A motion was made by Mr. Collier to approve the agenda and Shelley Gardner gave a second. Motion passed.
December minutes
Minutes were read. A motion was made by Rhonda Taylor to approve the minutes. A second was given by Debbie Kill. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report
Kelli went over the treasurer’s report. The boxtop check did come in and she went over all of the other additions and subtractions for the month. The middle school fundraiser was paid out and she will be paying the intermediate and primary fundraisers out tonight. Mrs. Sanders made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report and Mrs. Walker seconded it. Motion passed.
OLD BUSINESS
Bingo
Rhonda Taylor went over what she has done so far with organizing the bingo night. We are looking at having it at the high-school commons since they already have the tables set up or in the primary/intermediate lunchroom. Jennifer Herrera will call Beth Pompa and talk to her about how many both will hold. The date that has been chosen is April 12th since there doesn’t appear to be anything going on looking at the district calendar. The time will be 5:00 – 8:00 with games starting at 6:00.
Dining Around Town
Kelli went over the Primary and Middle School dining around town. The intermediate is having theirs this Thursday. The middle school made $235.39 while the primary school made $221.48. She thought the chances being sold to win free pizzas and family meal deals was very successful!
NEW BUSINESS
School packets
Jeff Shepler of River City Fundraising came and gave a talk about his company providing the service of school packets at the beginning of the school year. He explained everything that would come in the kit as well as labels with the kids’ names on them. They would be able to deliver them to each school. There is no obligation to order a certain number. We can add whatever we want to their price to make a profit. He says they are pretty competitive with what the items would cost in the store at regular price.
Copy Budget
Kelli went over the need to up our copying budget. We are already over budget and have several months to go. One reason we think might be that we are copying more for the Middle School now. Rhonda Taylor made a motion to raise the budget for copying to $600.00 and a second was given by Shelley Gardner. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Rhonda Taylor with a second made by John Gardner to adjourn the meeting at 7:40. Motion passed.
A candle was won as the door prize by Shelley Gardner.
