Agenda
A motion was made by Rhonda Taylor with a second by Shelley Gardner to accept the agenda as written with the addition of D under I to state Approval of by-law amendments. Motion passed.
January minutes
A motion was made by Angela Boese to accept the January meeting minutes as written with a second from Debbie Kill. Motion passed
Treasurer’s Report
Kelli went over the treasurer s report for the month. Having a Dining Around Town Pizza Hut night for each of the three schools seemed to be very successful! A motion was made by Laurie Mounts to accept the treasurer s report as written with a second given by Amanda Dameron.
Motion passed.
By-Law Amendments
Shelly Gardner made a motion to accept the amendments to the by-laws as written from the February 14, 2008 executive board meeting with a second by Von Robinson. Motion was passed as written.
OLD BUSINESS
Bingo
Rhonda Taylor and Keila Holt went over plans for Bingo night. They have a number of donations already and have more to come! They handed out books of all the details to the board members and pamphlets to the members that were present. Things are going well and they are looking for volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, contact a board member or Rhonda Taylor.
Dining Around Town
Kelli Farber went over the Dining Around Town nights at Pizza Hut. She felt that all three nights were very successful.
NEW BUSINESS
New Officer Elections
All 4 officer spots will be open. We will be taking nominations at the March meeting and voting at the April meeting. We will also have openings for the Yum-Yum Wednesday person, and Yearbook Chairman. If you are interested in one of these: taking over Yum-Yum Wednesdays or the Yearbook please talk to one of the board members.
Fun Day
The tentative dates are Monday and Tuesday May 19 and 20. We will be getting inflatable s to set up in the gym like last year. The principals thought these dates would work best for the students.
There was a motion to adjourn from Keila Holt and a second from Lisa Lipscomb to adjourn the meeting at 8:05. Motion passed.
Debbie Kill and Greg Rodman both won the drawing. Each won a $5.00 Pizza Hut card.
