PTC Meeting - December 18, 2007
OLD BUSINESS
Minutes from November
Minutes were gone over. A motion was made by Rhonda Taylor to accept the minutes as written with a second by Kay Walker.
Treasurer’s Report
Kelli went over the treasurer’s report. A motion was made by Kay Walker to accept the treasurer’s report as written and a second by Rhonda Taylor. Motion passed.
Holiday Shop
We talked about the holiday shop and the success they had this year. The shop made more than $4000.00 which was over $2000.00 more than last year. One reason was due to buying “packs” from the company at a substantially reduced rate. Heather Gray was only able to buy two packs last year due to the budget she had however, would like to have a larger budget next year to possibly buy more packs at the reduced price for next year’s holiday shop. A motion was made by Kay Walker to raise the budget to $5000.00 due to the fact that she is obviously able to resell it. A second was given by Rhonda Taylor. Motion passed.
Spirit wear
The second order will be in before Friday. There were some that were delayed because of the weather.
Holiday Photos
Mr. Eilert called and asked that we cancel it due to the ice storm that we had. He did offer to have the appointments come in to his studio at a later date and would still honor the prices and give PTC the sitting fee. He also offered to give us a check for $150.00 since we had 15 appointments set before we had to cancel.
NEW BUSINESS

In January, all three schools will be hosting a Dining Around Town night at Pizza Hut. We will be taking teacher volunteers and then parent volunteers to help wait tables. If you are interested, please let Gena Wade know.

We discussed that Deb Funke requested that PTC purchase the certificates for the CPR class that she teaches. A motion was made by Rhonda Taylor to give Deb Funke $204.00 to purchase CPR certificates and a second was given by Kay Walker. Motion Passed.
