Dining Around Town
Kelli Farber and Angela Boese are arranging the Dining Around Town nights.  We will be having one at Louis’ on Nov. 8th from 5:00-8:00 pm.  The Rose Room has been reserved to serve the overflow of people.  All three schools will be participating this night.  In January, there are 3 nights reserved at Pizza Hut for Dining around town. (January 17th, 24th, and 31st)  One night will be designated for primary, one for intermediate, and one for middle school.

Spirit Wear
The first order has gone in.  We had a good response and samples will be available to view in all three offices of items available to order.  A second order will be going in right before Thanksgiving to make sure they are back in time for Christmas presents.

Movie Night
The movie night has been rescheduled to Monday night, November 12th due to some school scheduling conflicts.  The movie is called Fred Clause.  Gena will be getting some order forms to the middle school to make sure they are involved.  A ticket can be reserved for $6.00 or a ticket and snacks can be purchased for $10.00 with $1.00 of each of the $10.00 tickets going back to the Rose Hill PTC.  The students have taken home order forms or contact the school offices if you’d like to order advance tickets.  You can also buy the tickets at the door.

Home Room Parent Meeting
April Morris stated the homeroom parent meeting is going to be on November 15th at 7:00 for primary and intermediate.  Please contact April or Wendy Weiss with any questions.

Primary Fund Raiser
The primary school sold cookbooks this year and was very successful.  They raised over $7000.00.

Inflatable Party
The middle school will be having an inflatable party on October 31st celebrating their fundraiser.  They raised over $11,000.00 for their school.  They will be playing Deal or NO Deal as well as many other games and activities.  They sold gourmet mixes this year for their fundraiser.

Book Fair
The hot dog feed at the book fair raised over $300.00.

NEW BUSINESS

Holiday Shop
Heather Gray is in charge of the holiday shop.  We are trying to get some pricing guns donated or loaned to us this year.  We’re going to be having the shop open the first weekend in December and are looking for volunteers.  If you are interested in helping, please contact Heather or Gena.

Reminder Notes
Jennifer Herrera will be getting monthly reminder notes for PTC meetings to try and increase our attendance.  Wendy Weiss will be in charge of delivering them to the three schools to be sent home in Friday packets the week before the meeting.

Car Wash Fundraiser
Rhonda Taylor talked about a fundraiser idea through Green Lantern Car Wash in Wichita.  They will give us $5.00 coupons to sell for $5.00 toward the $11.00 carwash that they offer.  When you get your car washed, you would give them the coupon and pay the additional $6.00.  Rose Hill PTC would get to keep the $5.00 they made selling the coupon.  We are going to check with the local carwash and see if they would be interested in doing something like this.  More information is to come on this fundraiser idea.

Soup Label
Debbie Kill would like to let everyone know that we only need the UPC symbol off of the Campbell’s soup labels this year.  Also, Suzanna Bloir Pappen said we have raised just over $1000.00 as of the end of June on Box Tops.  The check will be here before the end of December.

At 8:05 Sherri Strawn made a motion to adjourn the meeting with a second by Debbie Kill.  Meeting adjourned at 8:05.

Kay Walker won a tote bag for attending tonight’s meeting.
