Soccer Can't Hold on
The Boys soccer team met up with Augusta Thursday night and kept it close throughout the entire game. The Rockets fell behind early when Augusta scored on a penalty kick. It didn't take long for the Rockets to strike back when Dylan Simmons had a successful shot attempt to tie the game. Unfortunately, Augusta would score two more goals before half. The Rockets, down 3-1 at half, came back and tied the game at 3 with goals by Nathan Caddell and Matt Pemrick. Then DeJa Vu strikes when Augusta scored a goal late in the game and forced the Rockets into desperation for a goal. Augusta held off the Rocket offense winning the game 4-3. The Rockets still look to pick up their first win of the season at Berean next Tuesday, September 4th. |
