Lady Soccer Tops T-Birds
The Lady Rocket soccer team hosted Circle Thursday night for Senior Night. The Rockets got off to an early lead with a goal by Sophmore Teryn Engles, but then allowed a goal in the final seconds of the half to tie the game at an even 1-1. The ladies got back with it in the second half, with 2 unanswered goals by Kristy Herman pushing the lead 3-1. Freshman Sophie Newman would give the Rockets the finishing touch scoring off a pass from Herman. The Rockets would grab a well needed victory on Senior night, helping them to propel their momentum into the post season. |
