Baseball Loses Another One
The Rockets aren't having to much luck when it comes to winning games. Traveling to Andale the Rockets hoped to put together a complete game and pull off a win. Their hopes wouldn't come true, as they allowed a 6-run inning early making it difficult to comeback. The Rockets would lose the first game 2-10. The next game wasn't much better as Andale again got off to an early lead. Senior Ryan Anderson would connect with a pitch and send it out of the park, but it wouldn't be enough as they Rockets would fall 2-7 to the Indians. The Rockets will get ready for Regionals coming up next Monday. |

Softball Falls to Indians
The Softball team is getting into a difficult part of their schedule, having some uncharacteristic loses recently, but they will look to get things back together for regionals. One of those loses would come last night as they made a trip to Andale. The Indians were too much for the Rockets in the 1st game, run-ruling them 11-1. In the next game the ladies put up a fight, but the bats weren't connecting allowing no runs for Rose Hill. Andale would put up 5 runs and the Rockets would fall 0-5. The ladies will prepare for a tough regional tournament starting next monday at Douglass. |

Lady Rockets Drop to Augusta
The Lady Rocket soccer team traveled to Augusta monday evening to take on the Orioles. Having beat the Orioles 2-0 eariler in the season, the ladies hoped for much of the same. When Augusta jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, things looked different from when they played eachother before. The Rockets scrapped back with Kristy Herman chipping at the Oriole lead, making it a 1 goal game. Augusta would score yet again, putting the final nail in the coffin. The Rockets would fall to Augusta 1-3 but will work on their mistakes and get ready for the upcoming game against Circle. |
