Soccer Unleashes on Wildcats
The Rocket Soccer team looked nothing less than spectactular Tuesday night against the Mulvane Wildcats. Everything was clicking for the Rockets as they pounced on the Cats early in the game, taking a 2-0 halftime lead. The second half was nothing but Rose Hill as Alexus Ward would bring in her second goal of the game along with Kristy Herman completing her 2nd hat trick of the season. Among the other scorers were Junior Miranda Fisher and Freshman Sophie Newman. The Rockets put together a complete game, shutting out the wildcats with a phenomenal 7-0 score. The ladies will play next Thursday at Andover. |

Golf Finishes 7th @ Cheney
The Rockets traveled to the Cherry Oaks golf course Tuesday night to tee off against 13 other schools. With great weather conditions for golf, the Rockets faired well at the Cheney Invitational. Among the top finishers was Sophmore Tyler Arnett coming in 8th place shooting a 79. Followed by Terynce Smades who shot an 83. The team as a whole finished 7th among the 13 competitors. The Rockets still are a few short to fill out a whole team, causing the team score to slide down in the rankings. The Rockets will next travel to Pawnee Prairie for the CTL League Tournament, Thursday May 8th. |
