Soccer Squeezes by Central
The Lady Rockets came out in the first half executing their game plan. Getting off to a strong start, a pass from Kelli Herbel would find the foot of Carissa Hull to put it in the net to grab an early 1-0 lead. Battling the Jags was a difficult concept allowing Central to find the net before the first half horn. Tied 1-1 going into the final 40 minutes, Kristy Herman would get things done on her own, scoring the leading goal unassisted. Andover Central put a scare to the Rockets, as a shot bounced around the goal but was eventually cleared out by a Rocket defender. The Ladies would maintain their composure and hold on to the lead, grabbing their 5th victory, beating the Jaguars 2-1. |
