Softball Girls Annihilate Circle
While only losing two games in the season, the Lady Rockets would like to keep their strong record stand. Without the worries of school, the Ladies had all day to prepare for their game against the Circle Thunderbirds. The preparation showed as the ladies fired off to a 7-0 lead in the opening inning. The Rockets wouldn't glance back as they pulled away with lead, winning 11-1. The second game was much the same as the Ladies once again got off to a early lead, carrying them the rest of the way to victory over Circle 16-1. The Rockets move to 10-2 on the season after their great outshowing against the Thunderbirds. The Rockets will play next at Augusta starting at 4:30 pm. |

Baseball Sweeps Thunderbirds
With the score 10-4 going into the final inning of the first game, the Rockets needed a stop in the field. As Garrett Mitchell wound up at the mound with one out, the Rockets were ready to capture the victory. As a ground ball scurries to the second baseman, the Rockets turn the double play and defeat the T-birds in the first game. The second game was a sight to see, as the Rockets got off to an early lead, bringing in 5 runs in the first inning. With the help of Blake Jimenez's home run the Rockets sailed away with the lead and demolished Circle with a final score of 13-3. The Rockets will take on Augusta this upcoming Thursday. |

Smades Takes 7th at Derby
Mild heat, a brief breeze, and 18 holes were all the Rockets had to look forward to on their trip to Hidden Lakes. Terynce Smades was one of the Rockets top performers shooting well with a 77 finishing towards the top at 7th place. Behind Terynce, was Tyler Arnett shooting a 99 along with fellow Sophomore Kelly McReynolds. The Rockets will tee off next at Cherry Oaks in Cheney, Tuesday, April 29th starting at 3:00 pm. |
