Make-Up Game Ends Well
The Lady Rockets rescheduled last Thursday's game for the following Friday against the Augusta Orioles. The Ladies started nicely with a goal by Junior Kelli Herbal, opening out with the 1-0 lead. Good defense and pressure would allow the Rockets to find the net again with another goal by Herbal assisted by Rebecca Yoder. The Ladies went into halftime with a 2-0 lead, but were not confortable with the 2 point margin. The Rockets came out of halftime defense oriented. Allowing no goals, the Rockets held off the Oriole desprite attack for a score. The ladies wouldn't grab another goal and would finish the game winning 2-0 advancing their record to 3-5-1. The Rockets will travel to Circle next Tuesday starting at 6:30 pm. |
