Girls Soccer Loses Opener
The Lady Rockets opened up their season against the McPherson Bullpups. The Rockets came into the game not ready for the striking McPherson offense, allowing 2 goals in the 1st half. Trailing 0-2, the Rockets never got in the flow of things and their defense slipped numerous times, giving the Bullpups open shots at the goal. McPherson would break down the Rocket defense yet again, pushing the lead to 6-0 forcing the Rockets to an 0-1 start on the season. The Ladies had a tough first game and will look to bounce back from the defeat. They will play next at Goddard/Carroll tournament against North High starting this Tuesday. |
