Rockets Host 22 Team Tourney
The Rocket Wrestling team hosted one of the biggest tournaments of the year this past weekend. The Rose Hill Invitational, consisting of 22 teams, is a very competitive tournament with 4A to 6A schools participating. The Rockets had a few top finishers with Zac Sparr taking second place, Ryan Anderson taking third, and Trey Ellington and Brenton Daniel taking fourth. The Rockets finished with a total of four medalist, which wouldn't be enough to advance them into the top 10. The Derby Panthers controlled most of the Invitational taking first place with 228 points followed by Valley Center with 178. The Rockets would finish their home invitational with 85 points coming in 12th place. The next dual will be Thursday at home against the Mulvane Wildcats and the Andover Trojans at 6:00 pm. |
