Rockets Pummel Trojans
The Lady Rockets had a 14-2 record going into Tuesday night's game, and they looked to add to that record against the Trojans. The Rockets got down early in the first quarter but picked each other up and regained the lead by the half 26-21. Andover couldn't handle the Rockets second half pressure as the ladies would push the small lead into double digits. The Rockets would have some help from the bench as nine players scored for the Rockets helping to defeat the Trojans 54-34. Whitney Bates led scorers with 21 points followed by Kristy Herman and Audra Pfannenstiel both with 9 points. The Rockets advanced their record to 15-2 and look to add to that Friday against a Buhler team that defeated them earlier in the season. |

Rockets Fall To Ranked Andover
The Rockets traveled to Andover to try and defeat the number two ranked Trojans. The boys got off to a slow start and couldn't seem to score against the tough defense. With only 12 points going into halftime the Rockets made adjustments trying to strike another 3rd quarter comeback. In the 3rd the Rockets outscored the Trojans by 12 and cut the lead down to 11 points. Andover wouldn't let the Rockets cut it any closer and blew the lead away in the fourth winning 69-47. The Rockets were led by Tyler Shirley with 12 followed by Caleb Brown and Blaize Foltz with 10 points. The boys will travel to Buhler this upcoming Friday looking to take on the Crusaders. |
