Rockets Finish 5th in Opener
The Rocket Wrestling team opened up their season Saturday in El Dorado. The Rockets finished out the tournament with a total of seven medalist. Sophmore Zac Sparr remains unbeaten bringing home a 1st place medal followed by Seniors Kyle Smith and Brenton Daniel both finishing 2nd with a 2-1 tournament record. Trey Ellington and Ryan Anderson both finished in 3rd place after posting a 3-1 tournament record. The Rockets, who took 2nd last year, fell a couple of spots finishing 5th in El Dorado Saturday. The Rockets will wrestle next Saturday at Douglass starting at 9:00 am. |
