Rockets Lose Big to Orioles
The Wrestling team took a trip to Augusta to dual the Orioles. The Rockets started off the night when Zac Sparr pinned Augusta's Alex Rye and closed in on Augusta's early 12-0 lead. The Rockets would strike again when Senior Trey Ellington defeated Aaron Hamilton with an 8-3 decision. The Rockets just couldn't keep up with the Orioles, trailing 9-29 halfway through the night. Ryan Anderson and Brenton Daniel both gave the Rockets some much needed points when they each pinned their man. Once it seemed the Rockets might catch back up Augusta received two Rocket forfeits which would clinch the victory for the Orioles. Kyle Smith finished the night with a pin and the Rockets lost to Augusta 27-53. The Rockets will attempt to bounce back at the Bishop Carroll Tournament on Saturday. |
