Basketball Prepares for Opener
The Rocket Basketball team will need players to step up for the 2007-2008 season. Losing 8 seniors to last years 19-3 League Champs, the Rockets will be young and inexperienced. The team will return Blaize Foltz, Chase Ozbun, Tyler Shirley, and Caleb Brown from last year's team. The Rockets are down compared to last year but not out. The Rockets have enough returning talent to help the inexperienced players and hopefully bring back another great season. The Rockets will open their season Tuesday, December 4th at Douglass in the Mulvane Tournament. |

Lady Rockets Ready For Season
The Lady Rockets basketball team is looking forward to this year's season. The ladies will return a few players from last year's team but they will need some help from the underclassmen who are willing to step up and fill the spots. The Rockets, who were 11-11 in 2006-2007, look to improve on last year's .500 record. The ladies set high goals for the upcoming season and look forward to them being fulfilled. The ladies will begin their season at Douglass December 4th. |

Wrestling Anxious to Start
The Rocket Wresting Team, coming off a 2nd place State finish last year, are hoping for more of the same. Zac Sparr, the 3rd place State medalist, is returning along with seniors Ryan Anderson, Kyle Smith and Trey Ellington. The Rockets, losing four state finishers from last year, will be down from last year's team. The Rockets set high goals for their upcoming season with one being in Salina for the State tournament. The Wrestling team will begin their season December 1st at El Dorado starting at 9:00 am. |
