Rockets Shut Out El Dorado
The Rocket Football team traveled to El Dorado to try and improve on their 2-3 record. The Rockets jumped on the Wildcats early with an 18 yard TD run by Cody Knuth. The Rockets were not going to stop there as Myles Pinick shed off tacklers for a 48 yard touchdown. The Rocket defense held strong throughout the night as the Wildcats couldn't get much going. The Rockets, with half time approaching, had an incredible 73 yard TD run by Myles Pinick as time expired, putting the Rockets up 21-0 going into half. The Rocket defense made plays in the second half with multiple sacks and tackles. El Dorado would be held scoreless and the Rockets took the win over the Wildcats 21-0. The Rockets will host Andover Central next Friday at home. |

Soccer Wins RH Tournament
The Rocket Soccer team took 1st last weekend in the Rose Hill tournament. The Rockets set up against Ark City in their opening game of the tournament. The Rockets jumped on the Bulldogs early with goals by Matt Pemrick, and Keaton Miller. The Rockets didn't let up in the second half striking back with goals by Dinkle, Miller, and Eskeli. The Rockets advanced with the 5-0 shut out over Ark City. The Rockets then kept the hot streak going against Augusta as Josh Aubuchon scored early to give the Rockets a quick lead. The Rockets would go on to beat Augusta 5-2 and clinch the tournament title. |
