Soccer Dominates Wildcats
The Rocket soccer team stayed in Rose Hill to host the Mulvane Widcats. The Rockets fired out strong with tough defense and a powerful offense. The Rockets' Matt Pemrick scored the first of Rose Hill's many goals throughout the night. Mulvane's defense was put up against a challenge against the Rockets' well prepared offense. The Rocket defense held strong as Mulvane couldn't get much going, holding them scoreless the entire night. The Rockets converted on many of their opportunities and came out victorious, beating the Wildcats in a shutout 4-0. The Rockets advanced their record to 4-6 with the win. The soccer team will recover quickly playing in the Rose Hill tournament this upcoming weekend. |

Volleyball Splits in Triangular
The Rocket Volleyball team took a road trip to Great Bend Thursday. The Rockets started off the evening with a match against the host of the triangular, Great Bend. The Rockets battled and fought until the end bringing the match to 3 games. The Rockets came up short in the final game losing to Great Bend, 25-20 24-26 and 22-25. The ladies then recovered against Independent, destroying them with ease in two games, 25-14 and 25-6. The Lady Rockets, closing in on the end of their regular season, are looking to catch a hot streak to advance them to the post season. The ladies will host the Sub-State tournament on Saturday, October 20th. |
