Soccer Drops to Knights
The Rocket soccer team, coming off a victory last week, tried to keep on the winning track against the Trinity Knights. The Rockets had trouble early as the Knights came out scoring first. But the Rockets Matt Pemrick answered back with a goal assisted by Dylan Simmons. Unfortunately for the Rockets, Trinity would regain the lead scoring twice more before half time. Rose Hill, down two at half, battled with the Knights looking to get the ball into scoring position. Trinity held the Rockets scoreless the second half and held onto the lead, winning the game 3-1. The Rockets play Mulvane at home next Thursday starting at 8:00. |

Volleyball Wins 2 in Quad
The Rocket Volleyball team visited Mulvane to take part in the Mulvane Quad. Rose Hill started off with a nice win against Augusta, winning the match in 2 games, 25-19 and 25-11. The ladies then came right back against Mulvane with a hard fought victory getting the job done in 2 matches. The Lady Rockets set up against Clearwater for the third and final match of the night. The Rockets battled but came up short to the Indians losing 22-25 and again 16-25. The Rockets had an overall good night coming home from the quad 2-1. This advances the volleyball teams record to 17-8 and will add to it Thursday at Great Bend. |
