Rockets Top Southeast 55-46
The Lady Rockets traveled to Mulvane looking for a semi-final win against Southeast to propel them into the championship of the Mulvane Wildcat Classic. The Ladies got what they were looking for after a well fought performance against the Buffaloes. The Rockets weathered Southeast's quickness and battled them throughout the game. The ladies came out even with the Buffaloes throughout the 1st quarter, but jumped on them quick in the 2nd quarter and took the lead going into half 28-21. The Rockets would hold onto the lead and the victory winning 55-46, advacing them for the 2nd straight year into the Mulvane Wilcat Classic championship game. The Rockets will play Garden Plain Saturday starting at 7:30. |

Wresting Falls In AC dual
The Rocket Wresting team traveled to Andover Thurdsay night to try and win their second straight dual. The Rockets dug an early hole and stuggled to get out. Pins by freshman Travis Belnap in 5:08, Juniors Dustin Smades in 1:32 and Corey Hull in 2:35, and Senior Ryan Anderson in 5:09 would help minimize the deficit The Rockets couldn't get anything else going, losing to the Jaguars 27-45. The Rockets will travel to Freedonia Saturday in the Freedonia tournament Starting at 10:00 am. |
