Rockets Bounce Back in Rupp
The Rockets, after losing to Andale Tuesday, got a chance to redeem themselves in the secound round of the Rupp Invitational at Halstead against Moundridge. The Rockets got off to another fast start but mangaged to hold on to that early lead throughout the game. With a 15-0 first quarter score the Rockets made sure of no comeback finishing the half 33-14. The defensive side of the ball is where the Rockets excelled, with multiple steals leading to easy baskets. The Rockets would finish the game with a 28 point lead, winning 72-44. Chase Ozbun and Tyler Shirley both had 16 points along with Blaize Foltz and Caleb Brown with 14. The Rockets will play in the 5th place game against the Inman Teutons on Saturday. |
